I am about to try making gumpaste flowers for the first time with the Wilton Gumpaste Flowers Kit. I started reading through and it says to make them on stiff and thin wires but I don't know what gauge wire to pick up for these. Any help would be appreciated.

I use 26 gauge for nearly all the flowers. The higher the number the thinner the wire.

just go in the floral dept. and feel the wires......depends on the flowers you're making.....roses can be quite heavy so you'd need a much stiffer one than you would use for baby's breath!
