I wanted to make a ganche filling but I am not sure what 1 oz of sugar is equal to. Thanks for any help
I am not sure either....I used the chocolate ganache 1 recipe on this site and it was wonderful...
1 oz would be an eight of a cup, no? 8 oz in one cup divided by 8 = 1oz
I'm no math wizard but I think this is right. I'll sure look like a fool if it's not
On your cream cheese, one "block" of cream cheese is 8 oz (typically), so 1 oz would be 1/8 cup. Or you could probably eyeball it and cut your block in half then in quarters then in quarters again and you'd have one oz. - I'd prefer to measure it if possible in a measuring cup.
Yes, thats what I thought I was looking at the Ganche 1 in the recipes. I just got confused for a sec. Thanks!
1 oz sugar = 2 tblsp ****use regular granulated sugar
8 oz cream = 1 cup ****whipping cream (unwhipped)
