I wonder if anyone has a good recipe for a white or yellow cake made from scratch with walnuts and chocolate chips. I would just add them to my batter for yellow cake but won't they just sink to the bottom and get all gross?

To keep the nuts/chips from sinking to the bottom..just coat them with flour before stirring into your batter. It keeps the nuts/chips suspended in the batter rather than sinking!
