ok so here is the problem. Bride says she only needs cake for 40 people. she wants the top 3 tiers of that cake i posted the link to. so we looked at ti and though hmm 10 inch 8 inchand 6 inch. right??? yeah the only problem is according to wiltons and earlenes chart the 10 inch is all the cake we need. Plus she wants a grooms cake. So when we talk to her this evening we are going to tell her there will be extra cake and she may want to make arrangments for the left overs. I think this was suggested before on this site. does this seem like the best thing to do?? I would hate for her to be stuck with all this cake and not know what to do with it. would you supply the cake boxes for the family to use to take the extra cake home in???

..how about making one of the cakes a "dummy" cake? As far as the extra boxes go, I would just leave the ones there that I took the cake in to start with.

Sorry didn't read far enough in the forum & didn't see the message from MissMissy about the Pricing matrix.

Good luck with the wedding cake. It's always exciting to get orders. Hope everything works out with the cost.
