has anyone done a cake shaped out of a boot or a cake with a boot on it??
i had a customer call me and ask if i could do a cake like that. i need some ideas. any help would be greatly appreciated. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Sorry I can't help Diane, but I see there were a couple people that posted cakes in the gallery that had a cowboy boot theme, hopefully one of them will be able to help. Just wanted to let you know of the pictures in the gallery for ideas.

I have the Wilton pan for the boot with a cactus and a sunset, but haven't used it, I think that is what Esther used for hers. Janice

I made this into a cowboy boot. Instead of one cupcake in the back, I stacked two, and cut the top in a V shape to make where the foot would go in it. At the toe of the boot I cut it pointed. I put a decoration up the sides in black and colored the rest of the boot brown. Sorry no pics but I hope I explained it ok. Just an idea I used.

I believe www.janetscakes.com has an army boot, it was fabulous too.
