There was a post a while back about different chocolate chip cookie recipes--what makes them chewy, puffy, etc. Someone mentioned the Good Eats "Three Chips for Sister Martha" episode, where Alton tweaks a basic recipe to achieve different types of cookies. It's on tonight at 11 eastern, so I thought I'd share that info. It was the first episode of Good Eats I watched, and the one that hooked me, and it's still my favorite!

I just saw this episode yesterday- Thursday sept 28th at 11pm.
only reason i'm giving specifics is cause the time posted here confuses me!
It was a great episode to watch. I actually keep my recipes the way he does, from the bags into a box. He did the toll house chocolate chip cookies. He then went on to add his little special ingredients to make them more fluffy and chewy. So it was the same recipe just enchanced.

This is a great episode - one of my favorites!
