Ok I am fairly new to making/decorating cakes. I just made my 3rd wedding cake and I keep running into the same problem.

When I cover my cakes in fondant, after they settle the side of the cake begins to buldge where my filling is.. icon_cry.gif It makes my beautiful cake look not so beautiful.

If anyone can please provide me some tips to prevent this from happening I would greatly appreciate it!!

You reallt need to let your cakes settle. Torte, fill, wrap and let it sit overnight. then ice and decorate.
