I was asked to do a cake a day ago, for tomorrow at noon, and have had "creative block" I can see in my mind, the cake like I would love to make it, but just lack the time. I live in a po-dunk town, so nothing is open for me to run in and grab some fondant or things to make MMF with. I do have some chocolate fondant, and thought I could color the chocolate with icing so that the chocolate just looked like an outline. My question is if anyone knows if this will work and if so....how long you think it might take to dry in order to standup on the cake? Is there nything that will speed it along? Speedy response would be greatly appreciated.
