I keep reading all these posts about Satin Ice and how good it is. Where can I get it? I would love to buy some.

Thanks so much!

Do they generally all taste the same? Is the texture similar to using fondant? Can you buy it from a store or do you have to order if on-line?

Satin Ice is fondant and has a great vanilla flavor - except of course for the chocolate. It is very pliable when working with it and it settles very nicely on the cake. From my experience, you can mostly order Satin Ice on line, but I am very fortunate that the cake supply store by me carries both the vanilla and chocolate.

I get mine from the two cake supply stores in town.....I have never ordered it online.

greyhoundlover: Others, may disagree, but I consider Satin Ice the BEST fondant especially for consistency & quality. Besides, I like the taste.

I've seen it at Bulk Barn if you have one of those near you. Their website shows 3 locations in London.
