Adding Bc Pound Cake To Bc Cake Mix

Has anyone added the betty crocker pound cake to a betty crocker cake mix and had good results? Would anyone recomend this? I am taking my dh mixes back and getting bc french vanilla instead because apparently dh may have nuts in their ingrediants. Please help. Thanks.
