I need help please.

I am making cupcakes with jungle animal faces decor and don't have an idea how to do it. It's gonna be in buttercream. Is there a tutorial site I can go to for instructions? My piping skills are below par. Maybe I can just pre-make them in royal icing but I hear buttercream breaks down royal icing. Buying the decors is not an alternative they're so expensive here.

Thanks.

Try looking at www.wilton.com under cake/icing techniques. I think they have some on piping in general. Good luck and have fun! icon_biggrin.gif

Wilton has instructions for a Noah's Ark cake, that has how to make several animals faces:

Good luck!

Thanks, randipanda.
The site is great. Really helpful. Now all I have to do is practice, practice, practice. icon_wink.gif
