I'm the children's choir director at our church and I was thinking of getting the mini-ball pan to make little individual cakes for the kids at the party after their musical sunday. Do you have any tips, things I should know, etc. about this pan? I've only used a 9" round and a 1/4 sheet before and wanted to know if there was some weird thing I should do differently. OH and do you level these? Is so, how? Thanks.

Hi!

I use this pan all teh time, just make sure you don't overfill them. Once cool I just level them with my sharp 'bread' knife.

Good luck, the kids will love them thumbs_up.gif

I also level them with a knife. Just leave them in the pan and use the pan as the guide to level. I often do this right out of the oven so I don't have to worry about it later.
