Freezing Fresh Cream Filling

I am planning to make a cake with a fresh whipped cream and jam filling. Does anyon know if this would freeze ok?

i am not sure about fresh whip cream but i froze "pastry chef" folded with some raspberrry and it worked out great!!!!

I think plain whipping cream isn't the best for freezing. If you have time to test it, stir some together and stick in the freezer for a couple of days. you should be able to tell if it will hold up as it thaws.

Pastry Pride & Rich's Bettercreme can be used as whipped frosting, filling or ingredients in recipes. (Although they're more similar in useage to whipping cream.)

But unlike Cool Whip (or whipping cream), these products are shelf stable for a time. (Although left-over product should be stored in the 'fridge .)

Yes it will hold up for sitting and serving. It is not recommended that you freeze it and attempt to pipe or something with it later.
