I used to save my favorite photos on a flash disk in order to organise them in categories. I have read the thread about people copying photos from CC and then passing them off as they own. thumbsdown.gif Did they change it so that you cannot copy photos from CC for this reason? How, then, do I organise my photos in "my favorite photos". icon_confused.gif I have read the threads about "organising my favorits photos" and there was no clear answer except to do what I did. Now what? I loved having my favorite photos with me as I use the computer at work to surf CC and at home I was able to view them on my computer ... icon_cry.gif Is there another way to do this?

IF and mind you that's IF! this is a result of recent "concerns" -- let's see that last one was a 17 pages over 2 threads flogging a dead horse hissy-fit...

then i suggest we all go look in the mirror at the source of the problem.

we have only ourselves to blame

1) for not taking proper care of others photos when we save them

2) for not giving proper credit where credit is due.

3) for brow beating, running into the ground, kicking a dog when it's down, flogging a dead horse --

in short -- being MERCYLESS -- to someone who makes a mistake -- even an honest mistake.

I for one am sadden IF - and mind you IF -- it is this case that this is a new policy to prevent future contretemps as there goes all my work on the templates down the drain.

Hopefully, this is but another time to kick the server glitch.

--------------

further:

it will do us little good to:

moan, bemoan, weep, wail, lament, decry, belabor, or otherwise drag the fingernails across the blackboard

until there has been an "official" response from "on high"

I so agree with you Doug. I have printed off so many of your templates each time I need them, but have never printed a "master" copy or saved it to my personal computer.

If this is the case and the change has been made, maybe the templates folder could be changed back to "printable/savable," because after all whomever puts it there expects it to be copied.

Last night after I told DH about one of the infamous posts I had been following with the picture issues and he really "let me know" that I should be putting a watermark on my pictures. A photographer friend of mine actually just recently fussed at me about the same thing, as did the lady who recently designed our logo. Everything she sent me up until the day that I gave her final payment and she gave me the final logo files had a watermark on it. There is no way it could have been copied!

Let's keep our fingers crossed that it is just an error.
