I am making a grill cake and would like to know what colors you mix in the fondant for the hotdogs, hamburgers, and cheese to make them look so real? Thanks so much.

well...the way I BBQ -- BLACK!

for hot dogs start w/ a dark red (not bright or red-red) -- can tone it down by adding green or black

for hamburgers -- a brown w/ tinges of black

for cheese a golden yellow --

it's an "eye" thing -- what looks right to you.

don't be afraid to experiment --

just remember the one rule

LESS is more ---

put in LESS than you think you need. --- you can always as more, but can't take excess out.

Please post the cake when you're done. It sounds so cool!
