I recently purchased a retired cake lady's inventory. Now I have a bunch of cake column/pillars that are about 20 years old and very yellow. What can I do to make them look new again? Bleach did not work.

Thanks,
Denise

Leave them out in the sun for a few days, turning them over from time to time. I haven't had to do this for a while, but it did work for me. icon_smile.gif

I am interested in the resolution of this issue too! I have recently made a purchase of some plates and pillars that are yellowed. Any suggestions?

Toss them out and buy new.

If it ever stops raining, I will try this. Thanks so much.

Me, too. They're not that expensive and I"m just too lazy to spend that much time messing with trying to get old ones to look nice.
