Hello everyone.
This one was my very first wedding cake and It took all day to complete. I think I ate every single fingernail I had waiting to hear back from the bride on this one. My favorite so far and Only 1 comment

I was really proud of this cake, it was my first carving attempt, but I think it flew under the radar.

i am going to have to check out and comment on every single cake when i get a little free time. the ones i did look at are just too cute! how could they ever get by-passed!?

i worked so hard on this cake and spent 4 days on it. it has a lot of views, but only 3 comments

and i really like my easter bonnet, but holiday cakes seem to get forgotten until the next year.

to be honest, almost all of my cakes seem to get passed over, but some of them i was so proud of and it stung a bit.

I have 2 cakes. One is a bunny cake that is a replica exactly of my daughter's fav bunny toy with his feet kicking up in the air. It's a garden w/fondant carrots and sign w/her name on it. The other is my Turkey from Thanksgiving holding a sign that says "happy B-day" (it's hard to see the sign)

Ok, here's another one of mine. I loved this cake and was proud of my fondant crown (although it does have some strange 'smudges' on it). Again, I came up with this one on my own (I'm usually a copy cat) and was proud of it.

Great cakes everyone! I haven't had a chance to look at all of them (and I should be working icon_rolleyes.gif ). I'm going to go try to look at some more.

This cake http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-photo_693213.html has over 100 views, and only 2 comments. I have just assumed that since this cake is one that was done by someone else first, no one wanted to comment on it again (a customer saw this cake on this site and wanted it to be exactly the same except for the topper). It was my first time modelling anything in fondant...

All of these cakes are wonderful. I haven't had a chance to comment on a lot of them yet, but I will look at them more later on!

Some people are sensitive, though. I assume people are only posting the cakes they think are good ... unless they specifically ask for advice about it.
There was once a thread where somebody felt somebody was leaving mean comments to be hurtful. all the comments ended up edited or erased when she was criticized for it. Having not read the original comments; I can't really say whether she was leaving constructive criticism or whether she was truly being mean to that specific person.

Anytime someone looks at my cake I would love constructive criticism! Please feel free. It's one way that I can become better. I would rather hear it here than from a customer.
