AGreat thread. Took some time but I viewed all! They are all great. I have to say for those of you shy to post. Here is my first and this thread's worst! But my boy Loved it! I researched (cake body pattern/altered) and/or came up with it on my own. Note: up until this cake I'd only ever decorated w toys or marshmallow peeps. And I managed a buttercream ruffle and rose cake (all for my kids' birthdays). Not only my first ever attempt w 3d cake also first attempt w fondant. It supposed to be "Toothless" he has a bigger head. Honestly I think he looks like a scary brown mouse/rat.
AThis is a fondant nodding donkey oil pump jack for my best friends grooms cake.
I will post a few more cakes that we've made just for fun. My wife, sister and myself have been doing cake decorating for about 2 years.

Noosie, Loving the Spidey cake!
I made these chimps for a bride who'd seen a lone gorilla birthday cake on my (old) website and wondered if I could do a chimpy wedding version. She loved it so much that I had to add the banana for them to 'cut' for the photographer, she couldn't bear to cut it.
Chester the long haired guinea pig. A customer ordered it for his girlfriend who's fur baby was the centre of her universe. She loved it so much that he ordered the same the following year. That time I made 'chester' popping out of a birthday parcel.
Fairy castle cake that I made for a very good friend's little girl.
A replica of a local school building that I made for their 200th birthday.
A morris traveller
