Can Mmf Be Made By Hand?

that's the ONLY way i make it...i'm not going to risk killing a mixer for something i can do really really easily in 5 minutes by hand

It is easier to avoid adding too much sugar. Your hands can tell when it isn't sticky. Use caution: hot marshmallows can burn. Use a spoon or a bench scraper until it is cool enough to handle.

It's the only way I make mine. I learned my lesson after killinig my first Kitchen Aid.

Absolutely! I don't have a KA, so I've made it several times by hand. I start out using my silicone spatula to mix the hot marshmallow mixture with the powdered sugar, and then I just dig in with my hands to finish it up. Be sure to grease your hands really well with Crisco.

I use my KA to get it going, then by hand.
