If I was at the wedding with that gorgeous cupcake tower, I'd be going back to that table over and over until I tried everyone of those flavors. Hope you made some extra because I'm sure I'm not the only one who would see that and be frozen with indecisiveness!

Where did you get that stand? It's an awesome way to display them.

So many gorgeous cakes . . . I love seeing a snapshot of "a day in the life of CC decorators" by seeing all of the cakes made for a specific date.

The tower is antonia74 design...DH built it for me...and did a fantastic job! Here's a link...

http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=22674&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0

And there were a few people that ate their "fair" share of cupcakes because they couldn't choose..LOL I also overheard quite a few "ok...you take that one and I'll take this one and we'll split them and share...deal?" hee hee hee They really were a smash hit.

Thank you for the blue prints Antonia74!! I LOVE my new cake stand!

I'm not good at getting ideas like that. I look at a papernapkin today and was thinking it would look amezing on a cake I'm doing sunday. But put it back, dont think I could copi it on the cake.

But I dont mind, you guys make so many cakes I can try to copi icon_wink.gif

Well people try to copi Van Gogh all the time, this is no different....

Post a van gogh, I'll copy it icon_wink.gificon_lol.gif[/quote]

Well.... it almost sounded like a dare... I cant say no to that...

But I was quickly looking at some paintings of Van Gogh, and have to say... You really dont have to copi that, I would never trie that. I meen just look at this pic.... What a lot of work... I'll let you go this time icon_wink.gif

I made this cake for my own graduation party that was held on 7/7/07. It's a full sheet cake, half chocolate, half white. Slot machine is a GIANT FBCT. The diplomas coming from the machine are paper tied in curling ribbon. This was a really fun cake to make! I loved looking at all of the great cakes you people have made. Keep 'em coming!

OK, I have just got through all 9 pages of the thread and I am soooooo impressed. What beautiful cakes, all of them.

I had no weddings but my DD's 18th birthday was 7-7-07. Nothing really came to me, for her, so I decided to try and imitate one of the masters here at CC, ThanhThanh. I love her work and have a long way to go before I am anywhere close to her caliber. Try and guess which one is mine icon_rolleyes.gif
