Making our daughters wedding cake... Has anyone tried 14 carat carrot cake before??? It has 1 1/2 cups of oil per recipe which seems high, but the cake is great!!!
Will having a recipe high in oil be a problem for a stacked 18", 14", 10" 6"
cake?

My carrot cake recipe, which is fabulous, also has 1 1/2 cups of oil. It does sound like a lot, but this cake is out of this world. It is also a pretty sturdy cake, but I have never stacked it, so I can't say with certainty it would work, but I think it would. I guess it would also depend of the rest of your recipe.
