Hi all-
I got my first order for cupcakes (40)- she is having a My little Pony party... any ideas for me?
Much appreciated...
I would do pretty pastels. Here is a link for my little pony rings, which you could put on top. I have ordered from that ebay seller before, she is very good.

Or, you could do all the colors of the rainbow, and arrange them in the shape of one when you deliver. Or have the customer do it if they set up....
How about decorating the cupcakes like some of the decorations on the back of the ponies. I just bought a my little pony coloring book for a friends little girl. It has great pictures. The decorations on their backs are usually simple things like daisies, ice cream cones, butterflies, etc.
How about a cupcake cake:

There are a couple of cupcake ideas, including a cupcake cake. Also, a number of the other designs would work on a cupcake cake.
Red Panda
Debbie Brown's Lovable character cake book has a really cute little pony cake. maybe u can check the pic out on her website...
I love that cake in Debbie Brown's book. I made a my little pony cake for my niece a few years ago using a horse shaped pan. Then I got the Debbie Brown book and wished I had been able to do that cake! It is sooo cute!
I know it's not cupcakes, but I made a My Little Pony cake recently.

If you wanted to do rainbow hearts like I have on the cake, just roll out small, thin snakes of fondant in each of the rainbow's colors, smoosh them together in the correct rainbow color order, and then roll that flat with a fondant roller. Then cut your shapes out of the flat rainbow fondant. You can have rainbow hearts, flowers, stars, butterflies - whatever is girlie!
Good luck!

Or it is not my favorite idea but you could make a cupcake cake and shape it into a my little pony
