thank you for showing me this site. I've seen it before. But what i really want to know is what do you use for the chocolate?
Is it just plain (white) chocolate you have to melt?
And if it is plain chocolate, can you color it with the foodpaint?

I use the wilton candy melts....they come in a variety of colors and flavor all you have to do is melt them down. I've even combined some of the colors to get a different color that I need for a project. If you want to color them, you will need to use colors specifically made for coloring candy. Your gel pastes that you use for icing will cause the chocolate to seize up and become hard almost instantly. If you wish to use your regular gel pastes or food coloring you'll have to add a conditioner to the chocolate to keep it from seizing up. you could also use plain white chocolate for transfers and color with candy coloring.

Hope that helps a little bit.

Rather than Candy Melts, I used almond bark (found in the baking aisle of most supermarkets). It costs a fraction of the price of the Melts and I get the same results.

I purchase my Almond and Chocolate Bark at Wal-Mart on the baking Aisle near all the semi-sweet chocolates. It's actually less than $2 and U can get a lot of usage. Besides it taste great!!!!!...In addition us can't use gel or reg. food coloring. Must be candy coloring. Hopefully this help
