Hello Everyone!
I have a wedding cake coming up, and I want to know which doctored mix holds up better. The "Durable Cake for 3D and Wedding Cakes" or the "Cake Mix Extender"? I am baking the cake tonight for a Saturday morning wedding. It needs to be able to stay "good" until Saturday. (duh) haha
TIA for any suggestions!
I have tried the extender and loved it, so I guess my question is this:
Is the extender recipe durable enough to be used as a wedding cake?
Also, would you recommend stacking the tiers beforehand or on site? It is a 3-tiered cake with tiers of roses in between the tiers (I am using florist green styrofoam things to put in between the tiers and then sticking live roses in those foam things).
I am kind of nervous that I may not be able to pull this off....can anyone help??

You can use it for a wedding cake. Make sure you dowel well
I always transport a 3-tier cake in pieces and stack on site. Gives me peace of mind.
Thanks, I think I will do that. ANy other suggestions?
Has anyone done the roses in between tiers thing yet?
