It seems like there are alot of people that are around the Jefferson City area. I'm 45 minutes south of J.C. and 30 minutes north of Rolla. I would love to meet with some of the people here on CC. I would like to meet everyone and get some great ideas and information from all of you. Did the ball drop on the arranging of the club? Anyway, I live in Belle and would love to get together.
We had a meeting scheduled last year but it did not happen. Hoping this year we can get it going. I am in process of opening my shop and am willing to host a meeting but it wont be open for couple months yet ( if everything works out). Lets see how many are still interested and go from there...

Hello everyone! Thanks Michelle104 for PMing me and letting me know this is here! I'm interested! I'm in Cape Girardeau, MO which is about 2 hours from downtown STL but am most likely going to be moving to STL when my hubby finds a new job (he is the IT guy at one of the 8 Dana Corp. plants they're shutting down 
). Anyway, I'm going to be checking back to see what's going on!

I am an ICES member and a St Louis Metro. Sugar Art Guild Memeber. Plus I will be going to the Weekend of Sharing in April. Taking B.Keith's blown & pulled sugar class and Nick Lodge's gumpaste class. I am the chairman for the chinese auction.

Tracy~ I just found out about this "World"! Lovin every minute of it and my wilton instructor just told me about ICES and the Sugar Art Guild. I am definitely interested in both and am planning on going in April. I think I would like to find some other ladies that are going and see if anyone is interested in sharing a room or if anyone has any openings. I don't know anyone in the group except my instructor and she isn't going because she'll be out of town. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can get registered. Just wanted to post some info I found on the ICES Weekend of Sharing. The Keith Ryder class has 2 spaces left then everyone goes on a wait list. The Sugar Flowers class by Nick Lodge is full but the other two classes he's doing still have openings.

PS - If anyone is interested in driving to the Arnold area for a meeting, I can get my church Fellowship Hall and it has a large kitchen with a large counter 'serving' area that would probably work great for demos! Then it's just a matter of the particulars, when, what to discuss, etc...
Paula~I could def drive to Arnold. Only about 10 min away! Can you tell me any info on those classes you talked about and what I could benefit from them? I recognize the names but don't know anything about them really as I've only been doing and learning for about a month and a half. TIA

I just found this thread. I'm in Lebanon. So I would love to be a part of this cake club. I would be with the Springfield group. Although if the Mid-MO group ever does anything in the lake area I could do that too.
