Hi. I'm new to cakecentral and I am trying to make a cake for my 22nd birthday party on June 30th. I am having a cake and ice cream party so I thought a cake shaped like an ice cream cone would be cute. But to be honest, I have no idea where to start. Please help! and thank you! icon_smile.gif

First: W E L C O M E ! ! ! !!

warning -- this site is addicting!!!!!

---------------------------------------

option 1: this pan from wilton (just be sure to use a coupon from one of the big craft stores (michaels, a.c. moore, hobby lobby) to get a discount.

option #2: carve it from a sheet cake and a round cake.

see sketch: based on a 9x13 to scale.

Thank you so much. I think I like the second option better. I hope it works. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
