I am making stargazer lillies and calla lillies for a wedding coming up in July. I need to purchase some petal dusts for these flowers which colors do I need? I hate to buy 100 colors and only need 2!

Thanks!

Misty,

I made these flowers in a Nicholas Lodge class a few weeks ago. I have the list of colors at home and will post the ones we used tomorrow!!

From the book A Potpourri of Flowers:

For calla lilies: moss/lime green at the base, pale green on the inside behind the spadix.

For stargazers: primrose at the base, plum/fuchsia and red all over petal front and back, magenta in center of petal front and back, lime green in a small triangle on the front of the petal and halfway down the back of the petal
