I am trying to come up with a good way to represent me and my favorite fashion for my Sweet Sixteen. My step mother will be making the cake and I can't figure anything out. Lolita is based on 18th century victorian clothing. I will be wearing a completely white outfit. Some examples of Lolita are the following.

All idea's are appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

I like the fourth picture with the girl in white with the parasol. Can you draw her on a sheetcake?

She told me that she can't draw people. If it is a person (has to be cartoony) or something like that She told me to get a color sheet of them.

Maybe you could just draw the outfit with accessories. Like just draw a parasol, the shoes, the dress on a hanger or something.

Maybe she could do a white cake with lots of pearls and lacey-looking fondant? I would think that anything sort of old-fashioned/Victorian looking would go with those dresses.

I should have said it in the first post. She doesn't know how to use fondent (sp?), and she is not willing to use it. but I really like the pearl and lace idea.

Hi,Inuyisha123.If shes not willing to use fondant she can also make a victorian looking cake with buttercream too.The decorations (lace, pearls, etc) are the things that really make the cake look "victorian".I made this practice dummy with fondant and it had a lot of imperfections.I decided to cover it with cornelli, fondant flowers and pearls. With a little luster dust and the tiara the end result was much better. Its all in the decorations. If she doesnt like fondant, she can try another type of icing too.Hope this help.

Hey! I'm not sure if I'm too late in replying, but I'm a loli as well who's doing her own loli-inspired cake for her 16th birthday. ^^ What's your favorite brand? Maybe you could use some of AP, Meta, or BABY's prints...

When you said you were going in a completely white outfit, do you mean ShiroLoli? Hmmmm, if so, you have a choice between a colorful or completely white cake. But how good is your step mom? To pull off these cakes, she'd have to be really well-versed in decorating, not to mention keeping everything structurally sound! It's really too bad she doesn't want to use fondant. >.< It's actually easier than buttercream!

Anyway, I think the cakes above are loli...but you should try to add other things like crowns, keys, and crosses...please post more info on what kind of loli you are. ^^

I think I would just do a white on white with french dots and ribbon. Then you could decorate your cake table with victorian lace, parasol, pearls, tea cups, roses.
