Someone told me to use the flower nail upside down as the heating core for my cake. My question is how do you remove the nail from the cake? I know this probably sounds dumb but I am a newbie.

TIA.

Cool the cake as normal, and then when you flip it out on a cooling rack, you can pull the nail out. Caution though, cuzz that sucker is hot! icon_razz.gif

no questions are too stupid icon_wink.gif When your cake has cooled down you will turn it upside down to get it out of the pan, right? Then you just pick up the flower nail, whitch is now on the top.

Thanks so much!! That makes so much sense I just couldn't picture how it would work in my head. I guess that is why I am taking classes. Thanks again!!
