o.k. I know it's somewhere here but I can't find it and need to get started on my flowers, can I use extract with water to make royal icing? How much should I use and which flavor?? I would appreciate any advice.

Yes you can use extract in your royal icing. It can be whatever flavor you like.

I have used flavors in my royal icing and I just add 1 tsp into my warm water that I add to the icing when making it. I don't like it to be too strong so this way works well.
