Eggs In Fillings

Hi you all,
I have a question about fillings that are made with eggs, like a tiramisu.
Can i use any thing else instead of the eggs.

i use a cheaters recipe for the filling... i mix equal parts cheese and pastry cream and fold in whipped cream.. it works great

for tiramisu i use the italian "mascapone", en this recipe calls for raw eggs.

speaking of tiramasu, my husband loves the stuff, seeing that we're stationed in italy. he gets it almost all the time when we eat out!! icon_lol.gif

my friend went on a cooking trip to italy 2 yrs ago and brought me home a strawberrie tiramisu recipe... i changed it a bit coz i didnt want the filling with eggs.. and omg its yummy
