I had a lady call me for at 1030 pm last night to ask me prices for a teir cake to 100 people. HOW RUDE!! But anyway here's my question. What is the going rate for a basic cake with bc flowers and no seperators. I alway seem to charge to less. byw.. the cake is not til next May. Im not sure what the prices are going to be like then either (gas and other stuff)Thank you for all your help..

It really depends on the area ou live in. I was suggest calling several local bakeries and asking what they charge per slice for their cakes then adjust accordingly.

I normally charge $2.25 per serving. So a cake that size would be around $225.00. Depending on where they want the cake delivered I charge a delivery and set up fee of $25.00 to $50.00. I add that to the price. Always use a contract and get a deposit of at least 1/2 down at the time of order. Oh... and discuss your policy of a refund of the deposit if something should happen to the wedding plans!!!! CYA I say!!!!
