I found them at Dillards the other day for $135, but they were out, took the internet flyer to Sears and they Pricematched at 110%, so after the rebate I have an Empire Red One for $112.19 tax and all. That sale ended the 4th.
Will someone please explain to my dh why should have a KA? My birthday is in a few days and I have had a KA on my wish list for years! He doesn't get why I want one so bad when my old mixer still technically works.
I got it... tell him that a KA will make things go faster and then you will have more time to spend with him. Or do what I did and beg until you get so annoying dh says yes 
To emilykakes: It's time to break your existing mixer! Make a batch of bread dough and let it whirl until the motor burns out! Or, have your alter-ego make the purchase for the KA! In the meantime, search craigslist.com, garage sales, swap meets, etc. Emphasize how sexy a KA would make you feel--that might get his attention!

Are you on SlickDeals? I'm always seeing KA deals roll through there. I picked up a refurb heavy duty Pro 5 in Empire Red for $168 a couple of days ago from Amazon. It shows no evidence of use.
