I've seen a few posts about "Mary Kay frosting" could someone post the recipe?

It's the frosting used with Sarah's red Velvet cake. you will find it under Sarah's Red Velvet cake. HTH icon_smile.gif

MAry Kay Icing

1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
Mix above in a closed jar & shake.

2 cups icing sugar
500g butter
4 tsp vanilla or almond extract

1) Put flour & milk mixture in a pan & cook over low heat until thickened. Cool completely.
2) In a medium bowl, cream butter & icing sugar for 2 minutes.
3)Add extract . Beat for 1 minute.
4) Add flour mixture & beat on high for about 5 minutes until smooth & creamy.
5)Spread onto cold cake.

This recipe was in the recipe section under Sarah's Red Velvet cake.HTH
