Has anyone ever done a 'buttercream transfer' with a mixture of buttercream and piping gel? Like where one color is buttercream and another color is piping gel...not the two mixed together. Does it freeze well?

Thanks.

I don't know for sures I would have to say NO ... I would think that it would break down and be yucky when it unthawes. Hopefully someone that knows for sures is able to post..

I don't think so either...here's a great article on doing BCTs. It says not to add piping gel or cornsyrup because they don't freeze well.
