I'm doing two graduation cakes. One is for my son's kindergarten graduations and the other is for a friend's son's high school graduation. They are both christian schools. I would like anything from a really good bible verse, famous saying, something inspirational etc. any ideas??? Also, the gallery is down. Does anyone have any pics for cakes with writing around them. I remember a really cool wedding cake that had a saying written around the side of the cake. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

My Aunt is having me put Jeremiah 29:11 on my cousins grad cake. The verse reads "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." That's the NIV translation, other translations will have different wording. Hope that helps!

I was going to suggest the same verse. In our Christian book stores here, most of the graduation items for sale have that verse!

I love Jer 29:11. Psalms 3:5-6 also came to mind, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to thine own understandings; in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path."

sorry, I should have added this before, but if you did the light of the world one, you could make a light house with MMF graduates holding bibles sitting around it. I love Jesus cakes.
