and Guess what my husband said, "'bout time you made a cake from scratch" HAHAHAHAHA. Hilarious. Everybody said it was delicious. He thinks he knows so much.

I used it this weekend too and it really did taste like it was from scratch. I will definitely use this in the future!

It really did make it taste like a home made cake!

Hi there,

what exactly is the mix extender?? does it just make the consistency of the cake different?? or does it make more cake mix batter??? sorry i'm a bit confused.

It allows your cake mix to go farther. I was able to get a 9X13 and 12 cupcakes out of one box of mix by using the extender.

mimimil, I was told it makes the cake more dense too ... if used for sculpting or fondant, it would hold together better ....

cakes-r-us, that is too funny ... If I were you, I'd tell him, yes honey, I made one from scatch just for you *wink*
