Hello all,
Im doing my first wedding cake this weekend and i would like some help/verification that i have everything thought out correctly -- Im not sure i have the # of servings for each cake right
-otherwise i think i have the stacking, smoothing and other aspects down pat

there will be around 150 people if more i will and an extra sheet cake
the stacked cake: each layer will be around 3in tall with no filling:
top: 6in (anniv cake) -0 servings
mid: 8in- 20
mid: 10in- 28
bottom: 12in- 40

extra sheet cake
11x15in -50
grooms cake (nascar kit cake) approx 25 - this is just a good guess

If anyone can tell me if this is correct, or how it should be would be great
--- many thanks in advance

Well, everyone will get a larger piece of wedding cake since you're serving up party size slices. icon_biggrin.gif

For the 11x15, even with party size servings, the yield is given as 60.

FYI, here are all four Wilton cake preparation/serving charts:

Look forward to seeing photos of your cake. thumbs_up.gif
