What are your ideas for a monthly theme for July???
Other than the obvious 4th of July, how about bugs? Butterflies, dragonflies, lady bugs...your thoughts!
I like the idea of bugs (of all sorts!), but I think 4th July is too country specific for an internationally subscribed board - that holiday means nothing to those of us outside the USA who aren't American, JMO!
Things you see/do/have at the beach : Kites, balls, etc....

Nope, I just have a lot going on LOL... I am at The office more than I am home. If I am home I am baking stuff for people at the office. When I do have some me time and I am not sick I spend it with my honey.

Someone had suggested 4th of july but since it isn't recognized all over the world I think Patriotism would be a good way to see differnet things from around the world.

Patriotism works for me too if we don't get enough interest in bugs. I just ordered a bunch of beach stuff from cookiecutters.com so I've got that covered as well. When will the decision be made?
Okay, I know I already voted for beach stuff, but thought of another one. How about flags? That way we can see them from all different places, either state or country. Or is that too limiting? Just thought it may be different.

I'll give it a few more days and then announce the theme that seems to have the most support on July 1.
I like the idea of flags/patriotism 
although it does seem kind of limiting - I am always suprised at how unlimited the ideas are as people show there cookies! I do think bugs or beaches would be more fun though and like tayesmom, am thinking of some cookie cutters I have been eyeing that may need to be bought.

The only question I have is--the bugs down here in Georgia are pretty big ,do we have to make cookies as big as our bugs??
