Do your corners first. Then work on the sides, starting from the top and gently easing your way down.

Do the corners first, then work in toward the center of the sides. You still work from top to bottom as well.

I found a video finally! This is an amazing website for a cake baker in Utah! Very professional and easy to navigate! In her tour video you can see her smooth fondant on a quare cake!

Any suggestions on how to make sure your fondant is SMOOTH?? I think it is smooth, but then after a while (when I take pictures usually), I see all the flaws. Small bumps and uneven spots. As if the frosting underneath is squished around.

I always chill and crumb-coat the cake. Do I need to put a heavier, smooth layer of frosting on before I put the fondant?
