I feel reeeeaaaalllly dumb for having to ask this question.....but what do you use to attach the decorative ruffle to the cake board? This is only my 2nd wedding cake....and I didn't use this on the first.

Thanks for any help!!

I used to staple them, but in today's world I would use a hot glue gun. Just remember to set the ruffle in a bit from the edge of the cake board so the sewn seam is covered by the iced cake and isn't visible. Personsally I don't care for them, I think they detract from the cake.

Are you talking about Tuc-n-Ruffle? My mom use to just kinda stuff it under the cake and the cake held it in place. I don't use it because I don't like it.
