Hi~
I know this has probably been asked a thousand times on CC, but I can't find the answer!

What is the best way to store chocolate clay (using the Wilton candy melts recipe) and how long can it be stored?

I have 2 separate children's birthday cakes that I'm making for June 2 and June 9. Both are very detailed with chocolate clay figures, designs, etc... I would like to do as much as possible for the cakes within the next week or so, but I don't want the chocolate clay to spoil.

Any advice?

I just wrapped my leftover candy clay in plastic wrap and in a ziploc. 3 weeks later, it was still fine!

I'm not sure how long; but I think it's many weeks because there isn't anything perishable in it. I definitely wouldn't worry between June 2 and June 9!
