Is there a specific list we can go to for reference instead of reading the entire thread? If so, where would one find it? Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much, Mrs. Missey! This way I can print it out and put it on my monitor. It might be a good idea to put it somewhere on this site where newbies or people like me who aren't really familiar with a lot of these yet, would be able to just go to an alphabetized list of them - maybe even in the "New Articles" section. Just a suggestion. Thanks again!

Oh wow! That is so nice! I've printed it - Just gotta cut it out and put it on my monitor. Now I'll have a clue about some of the stuff everyone is saying. Thanks again Mrs. Missey, and you too, tiggy2. Everyone is great on here. I LUV IT!!!!!!!!

Just found this site, and it explains a lot. Guess there is one basic we forgot though...ASAP = As Soon As Possible. My DH (and I mean dumb) thought that was always talking about a snake.

I just finished reading the entire post to see what GP means. Fairytale refers to it in her hatbox directions. Thanks!

A suggestion- Maybe you could put a note under the list that it is constantly being updated so people wont feel like they have to read the whole thread to find their needed acronym! This is a great thread BTW. I have refered to it several times!

Lisa Posted 12 May 2007 , 5:32pm

Thanks marthajo1. GP has been added to the list.

How about FOB and FOG ; father of bride/groom

Is there such a thing as Bridezilla BZ icon_mad.gif , I think you would need the emoticons on that one!

There are a few others I saw today and I have to think about them and now ..... gone.

Thank you so much for keeping up this post. It's a lot of fun to read.

Good Luck

I just read all of the terms for everything and was so happy to have learned them. I have been on the site since last Oct and just tried to guess what everyone was talking about, this was sooo helpful. Thank you. P.S. I thought I was going to fall out of my chair when I saw the Dumb Husband translation!! That was Awsome!
