kaychristensen Posted 25 Jan 2007 , 7:52am

Ok we had Cheeseburgers and fries. DH was being the other D today tapedshut.gificon_mad.gificon_cry.gif And I am still not feeling to well icon_cry.gif

Knox You gotta get some rest on that NEW bed of yours.. SWEET DREAMS thumbs_up.gif So did your DS help you with his cake for his friend?? that would have been fun.. How is he feeling??

JUJU icon_cry.gif on the left overs. But your supper sounds good. I might just have to make me some chips and taco dip thumbs_up.gif

daltonam good thing we don't need to pick knox out of a lineup icon_razz.gif

Ok I better go clean some thing so DH won't be hissy when he gets home. But I doubt he will though cause he hurt his foot in his little fit. So I think his pain and pride will be alittle hurt. So I doubt he will complain in the morning.

Ohara Posted 25 Jan 2007 , 12:39pm

My cold has decided to get worse in the last 24 hours. I do not have time to be sick. icon_cry.gif Ok no more whineing. I spent the day yesterday shopping for a few things to take on my cruise next week. Today I will probably return a few things. I am an over planner. On this "girls weekend" I got appointed "tour guide barbie", and I am a pleaser so....I want every thing to go great. How could it not be great....5 days no hubbies, no children and no cell phones. (not to mention the food an beverages... thumbs_up.gif

We went out last night DH wanted hot wings....and I said I'm good with that cause it means I don't have to cook. He had hot wings and potato wedges...dd had mini corndogs....I had a grilled chicken salad.
I am being so good because I am going to eat on the cruise. My goal was to lose 20lbs before we went but I don't think I'm going to make it. I'm at 16 today. Still happy with that.

knox...hope you got some rest. Hope your sons friend was surprised with the cheesecake. A nice thing for you to do.Thanks for the recipe...it sounds great.

juju...creamy tacos...great use of leftovers. thumbs_up.gif

Kay...sorry your not feeling better yet, girl you've been sick a long time. Hope you feel much better real SOON.

dalton...I love lima beans....none of mine will eat them.

dodi....where are you...hoping your little one isn't still sick.

Any one know what's up with Monica?? we haven't heard from her in quite a while ....hope all is fine with her.

Also missing joanmary....

daltonam Posted 25 Jan 2007 , 9:21pm

Monica0271 Posted 25 Jan 2007 , 10:20pm

Ohara Posted 26 Jan 2007 , 12:28am

It's FREEZING here. The coldest night we've had yet. It's single digits with the wind chill.

Monica...good to hear from you. I would love to have pizza.

Daltonam....did you cook?

Since it is so cold I made Italian vegetable soup. DH loves it. For those of you in the cold...stay WARM.

butterflyjuju Posted 26 Jan 2007 , 12:42am

Tonight is fried chicken (it's already breaded etc and I'm baking it) broccoli and cheese and baked potatoes.

knoxcop1 Posted 26 Jan 2007 , 3:49am

Hey, Y'all! icon_smile.gif

Pretty good day today! thumbs_up.gif Went to my first gumpaste class. Guess what? The flowers we're learning how to do are the exact ones I'll need to do a wedding cake the first Sunday (yes--Sunday!!) in May!! Sooo cool!

Ummm....hmmm...what else? Oh! DS gets "paid" for his good gradecard this week. He's requested his favorite dinner be cooked sometime this weekend, and also to go to Chuck E. Cheese's for an afternoon with his friend Austin. Not sure I can fit it all into this weekend, I'm pretty well slammed. Church on Sunday--carving out a 3 D Elmo with a cake buddy Saturday morning---draining the waterbed---picking up the dry mattress.

Tonight was take-out hot wings (mild) for DS and I. Hubby won't eat them, so I got him KFC. We've all just finished eating. At this late hour!
Off to bed! icon_cool.gif

daltonam Posted 26 Jan 2007 , 5:10am

knox is ignoring me icon_biggrin.gif...nah, she's just busy.

kay--about that cleaning house thing, my DH keeps a hissy fit going 24/7 (i'm not a housekeeper--i hate it)

ohara if you call frozen chicken pot pies cooking, then YES ma'am i cooked--haha--cause that's what they had to eat....well DS didn't want that so he ate a salad, which looked really good, he offered to fix me one, but i decided to eat DH's crust off his pot pie & then we all had key lime pie (not homemade icon_sad.gif but still good)

got to bake 2 cakes tomorrow, for tomorrow night.....my sister's b-day & then some friends of my mom's is coming to visit & it's his b-day too, so it's chocolate cake for sis (& mom, cause it's low sugar & they're both diabetic) & red velvet for the friend (& my dad's fav which is why i decided to bake it)--not real sure about decorating the red velvet because i always put pecans in my icing, so i'll see....i wanted to do a purse cake for sis, but that's not going to work out--oh well, another time maybe.

kaychristensen Posted 26 Jan 2007 , 10:06am

Ok It was Dance night for DD so it was a weird kind of day period. DH came home and went to bed ASAP with his OUCHY FOOT icon_lol.gif No I know I am naughty but he did it to himself. I love him but 2 yr old tantrums is his fault. I just hope it isn't broke cause he never goes to the doc.

So it was feed yourself. DD was the one on the tired side so she had applesauce and a sandwich. And DS came home early from school with a tummy trouble from his antibiotic. He was craving Krispie treats so I guided him trough making them icon_cry.gif So he ate them and sandwiches. And DH didn't eat before going to work so I need to think of something for me to eat tonight and for him in the morning.

daltonam I stink at cleaning also and he knows it but duh if he makes a mess he should help clean it dunce.gif The kids do more than any of there friends. And my house is by far from spotless. He doesn't have fits often just when he is stressed. But to here him say it he is never stressed icon_cry.gif And knox is just to tired from sleeping around the house to answer you. She still needs to drain the old bed and she has the big order. I hope she gets some sleep soon thumbs_up.gif And Good luck on your cakes thumbs_up.gif

Knox I am glad to here about the new class. And that you get to learn them in time for your cake thumbs_up.gif So is that the new pic your sweet cop car. My DD was looking over my shoulder and asked me. I didn't notice but she did. She is my picture girl. Doesn't really read much but new pictures catch her eye. She said Mommy is that the cop ladies car?? Sorry if I was naughty about your picture just jokin ya. H### I don't even got one up yet. I thought you already had the matress girl. How an d where did you sleep last night?? icon_razz.gif Get some rest thumbs_up.gif

Ohara that cold crap S##### icon_cry.gif been there did that icon_cry.gif Keep warm

Monica I am thinking ramen for my picky girls for tomorrow thumbs_up.gif they love them thumbs_up.gif And I am feeling better but I have said that before icon_cry.gif I don't want to jinx myself icon_razz.gif

mkolmar I hope I didn't offend you with my last post to you. I was still kind of out of it. And don't know that I worded my response very well. I just know that spaghetti still kicks my but with the acid stuff and I imagine it wouldn't be good for someone coming out of surgury. I appoligize for the way I sounded. So will you forgive me. And I hope your dinner for them went well. I was just so paniced with the spaghetti and what it does to me and my family with the same problem. When I was told to stay away from spicey foods. I thought only mexican foods BOY WAS I WRONG. So that was why I said what I did. I hope your friend is doing well. I will be thinking of her. I feel so bad for my panic attack. No excuse but my meds are making me CRAZY icon_cry.gif

mkolmar Posted 27 Jan 2007 , 1:08am

HA HA KAY! Your so funny! You didn't offend me at all! You pointed out something that I didn't think about and I'm glad you did. I've just been really busy this week to the point of dropping over dead from being tired. Don't sweat it girl. When I read your post I felt bad for you even thinking I could be upset. I don't get upset easy or offended easy either so don't ever worry about that. I generally just like to joke around and let stuff roll off my back. If I ever do get mad don't worry the whole US will know of it icon_lol.gif By the way are you feeling any better yet?

Well everyone tonight my kids had scrambled eggs, toasted bread (visited an organic bread bakery for a school field trip today) and orange slices. DH had Southern BBQ beef tips over rice with the rustic italian bread un-toasted. I'm not really hungry because I ate so much earlier and am still in pain....may have to go to the hospital tonight but I hope I can hold off till my monday doctor appt. (my DH is mega-PO'd at me for letting it go so long and not mentioning it till yesterday in passing to him. He's been yelling at me for a while now) I know I haven't mentioned it here either because I knew you all would yell at me too but I'm 28 and have been having mild chest pains here and there for the last month and a half. Well for the last 2 weeks they have came everyday now and now it's to the point when the pain starts I feel light headed and it feels like I have a toddler sitting on my chest when I try to breath. It's been almost 4 hours now and the pain has not went away yet so if the DR. ever decided to call me back I'll know if I have to go to the hospital or not. OK...now all of you can yell at me for waiting so long to call the DR.

knoxcop1 Posted 27 Jan 2007 , 4:58am

KOLMAR!!! YOU CRAZY GIRL!!! icon_smile.gif

As resident "table marm"
I'm telling you:GO TO THE DANG HOSPITAL---NOW!

Heart symptoms are very DIFFERENT for women as compared to men. Better to be safe than sorry. If I was there with you, I'd call a schedule 48 for you myself. GO! And when you get back--try to take care of yourself.

Tonight's dinner:

Pork chops w/Oven Fry coating
Yellow saffron rice
Bottled water

kaychristensen Posted 27 Jan 2007 , 8:45am

Ok kiddos had MAC AND CHEESE and HOT DOGS. The turkey girl ate all her food.. Without my help icon_lol.gif DH had hotdogs. I have no clue what I will have yet icon_cry.gif

Knox I am glad you got on mkolmars BUTT. Cause I was going to NO JOKING Yum Pork Chops mouth watering now icon_cry.gif

mkolmar tapedshut.gificon_mad.gificon_evil.giftapedshut.gif No just kidding BUT seriously Go To the doc girl. I know I suck at going to the doc. But hey I just lost a cousin who was a month younger than me 43. They said natural causes but meaning her HEART.. I know anxiety can cause problems. BUT GET IT CHECKED OUT PLEASE You are so funny asking how I am. Thank You but DANG GIRL. I can't BS with you if your in the hospital or worse icon_cry.gif I am expecting a full doc report on MONDAY. NO EXCUSES I will be thinking of you all weekend.. And some people on the site get so crazy about what is said. I am sure all my table friends take the joking. But I was so out of it when I typed about the food. And when I reread it I was shocked at how it sounded. So glad to know you knew where I was coming from thumbs_up.gif NOW GO TO THE DOC THAT IS AN ORDER

Ohara Posted 27 Jan 2007 , 1:13pm

mkolmar....GO TO THE HOSPITAL. Saying a prayer for you. Let us know what the DOCTOR says.
I got a call 2 weeks ago when I was headed home for my grandmothers funeral from my sister. She said to me..."not to freak you out but I'm headed to the hospital". She had been having chest pains for several days icon_eek.gif . It got so bad she called her doctors office. The nurse got on the line and said " hang up and dial 911. Women do not always have the same symptons as men."
I knew she was hurting cause we don't hardly go to the doctor, because they make you get on that d** scale. Snyway...everything turned out ok for her as I am hoping for you.

Kay...how are you feeling? Are you getting any better?

Knox...good job fussing at mkolmar thumbs_up.gif

Last night...leftover soup

mkolmar Posted 27 Jan 2007 , 6:16pm

ok ya'll I totally deserve to get yelled at and I know it. My DH is still saying how much he loves me in one breath and how stupid I am in the next. I tried calling my doctors answering service 2x yesterday and each time they said they weren't taking any more calls (was a recording), so at 8:20 pm I called the nurse line from my health insurance and the lady said to call 911 right away but I live close to a hospital and just had my DH drive me instead. My blood pressure, chest x-rays and EKG was just fine so I got sent home. The doc's at the hospital said I just need to get a stress test done soon and to make sure I keep my DR appt. for monday. The hospital have no real idea on why this is happening but are not worried because all of my tests came back normal. My best friend said to have my thyroid re-checked because my medicine might need to be a stronger dose now. My chest is still hurting around my sternum and I feel slightly short of breath and a little dizzy but nothing I can't handle. Just glad to be back home. So I guess i'm ok as far as right now....and YES, I'm still going to keep my doctors appt. for monday and I'll make sure to tell you all what he said. If this happened to someone else I would yell at them, so I have no idea why I ignored it. Just thought it would go away on it own. icon_redface.gif wishful thinking I guess.

Tonight for dinner is going to be spinach and romain salad topped with oriental sesame chicken, mandrin oranges and rice noodles. My mom and dad are wanting my 6,4,and 3 year old to stay over so I'll only have my 18 month old to take care of tonight icon_smile.gif Which is good because I have a class project due on monday that I need to re-type out (all 12 pages of it).

Just wanted to let you all know that if you have a YMCA near you and you don't have a gym membership somewhere to go apply for a job at the Y. I'm only going to be working 3 hours a week and I get a free membership and my whole family is for only $20 a month since I now work there! I think I'll keep this job forever!!!!! I'm in the fitness area since I use to personally train and teach aerobics YEARS ago. I don't have the stress of selling memberships and it is really low key as compaired to the normal gyms I'm use to working at. Just thought I'd let you all know in case it's something ya'll would be interested in. And if you have kids you can leave them in the kids club for 2 1/2 hours when you work for free too.

Monica0271 Posted 28 Jan 2007 , 3:27am

mkolmar - I am SO thankful you went to the Doc icon_wink.gif I am also glad your keeping your doc appt for Monday. Let us know what the doc says .

Tonight I fixed chicken rolled up in crossiants, put in a dish, pour cream of chicken soup, cheese & milk over it then bake it. Its soooo yummy. I can not remember the name but its rich.

Knox I love peas I have not had them in a while.

kaychristensen Posted 28 Jan 2007 , 7:21am

Ok for supper for the kiddo's I tried something new. It was a Combo of 2 recipes icon_razz.gif It was kind of like pizza (yes I am still craving Pizza Hut) Anyway they all ate it even the picky one thumbs_up.gif

Mkolmar You made me happy to here you talked to doctors and have another appointment on Monday thumbs_up.gif And with the worrying about offending you. I didn't think I did. It just sounded bad when I reread it. And there have been many of disaggreements on the site. So I wanted you to know I wasn't meaning it the way it sounded. I consider all of you my friends icon_lol.gifthumbs_up.gif

Ohara I am feeling alittle better. I am suppose to call the doctor in about a week and a half. To tell her how I am doing. If I don't feel an improvement I will need to go to a Lung specialist icon_cry.gif I have lived with smokers all my life and she thinks it is catching up to me. My chest still feels tight when I take a deep breath and still am coughing. But I am not as tired thumbs_up.gif So maybe these meds will work thumbs_up.gif

Knox I hope your caking is going good. Hope to here from you soon thumbs_up.gif Can't wait to see the pics of the cakes.

Ohara Posted 28 Jan 2007 , 12:18pm

mkolmar....THANK YOU. I'm glad you went. I hope your doctor on monday can figure out why you are hurting and make it better. You have a lot on your plate, but try to take care of yourself. thumbs_up.gif

Kay...don't you just love when they all eat it. Maybe you could share what/how you made it.? I will continue to pray for you to be well.

Monica...I make a version of that...we call them chicken roll ups. Our ds and his friends can eat lot of these. Yum. Our friend says that anything would be good rolled up in crossiants. icon_lol.gif

Knox...hope your cakes came out well.

Last night I had 10 for dinner. My nephew is home on leave from Washington State. He had been wanting me to make my Italian chicken and ship it on ice. So I made it last night for him and several of his and my ds friends and his mom and dad.

Dinner was:
Italian Chicken (we call it white chicken)
linguini in the white sauce from chicken
green beans (I had been wanting them for a long time)
cottage cheese
Homemade Italian bread
White chocolate macadamia nut cookies

Today is going to be a really emotionally hard day for me. I have some "stuff" I have to deal with today. And I will have to be the mom and take care of my kids during and deal with my emotions later. Thanks for listening.

knoxcop1 Posted 28 Jan 2007 , 1:21pm

Hey, Y'all! icon_smile.gif

MKOLMAR: So glad to see that they found no initial problems. I'm sorry to have been harsh, but I've seen firsthand what "waiting until later" can do for a woman. Take care of yourself! It sounds like maybe it could be a gallbladder thing, maybe hyetal (sp?) hernia type thing? We are ALL thinking of you and wishing you the very best!! thumbs_up.gif

MONICA: Haven't I seen a recipe like that somewhere? I think I did, and I was meaning to try it, but...If I sleep between thoughts, they can be lost forever! icon_lol.gif Early dementia, I reckon.

O'HARA: I'll take one plateful (or 2...or 3) of that delicious sounding food shipped overnight to TN, please! Yumm...AND ALSO--Whatever is going on, my thoughts are with you. I'm sure you'll all come through ok. Hoping for the best. thumbs_up.gif ENJOY THAT CRUISE, LUCKY!!!

KAY: One box full of that yummy stuff you made, too! Get it here fast, so I can mix it up with O'HARA'S food, too! icon_biggrin.gif Hope your new meds work out and you get better!

DALTON & MONICA: Silly girls! The dep't has a policy somethin' like, "No on-line personality" type crap. Basically no posting of pics on the net or whatever. Supposed to keep you safer, but---in the end I think it's to keep all the pervs at the dep't from hooking up with other pervs. Believe me--there's some in uniforms that would do better on America's Most Wanted. Never know who's lurking around in here. Judging by the views as opposed to the posts--quite a few!

DODI: Where you been girl? And JOANMARY? Hmmmmm...

JUJU: Hey Girl! Hadn't heard much from you. Those pretty babies must be keeping you busy. icon_smile.gif

Last night was to each his own night. DS went to the monster truck rally with another officer and his son. DH was working his extra-money security job, and I was by myself for 3 whole hours. So everybody kind of went their own separate ways. I had a Fresca (love love love my Fresca!) and some sausage balls. I could live on 'em.

joanmary Posted 29 Jan 2007 , 2:18am

Hey, all. Good to be back. We went to TX and NJ to visit with grandchildren (also my sister). Came home Sunday night late. Our baby (14 year old Yorkie - Dexter) was on IV at vets - became dehydrated while boarding - but is ok now. Wake up to phone Monday. DGS saying he forgot his backpack - could I bring it to him. Next call an hour later from DD - DGD was sick - could I go get her (see, knox, sometimes those grandmas come in handy). After having DGD home for 2 days I got strep throat (not from her) and am just recovering. Can't believe I missed so much CC.

Ohara - Sorry about your grandmother. Hope your "stuff" went ok yesterday and that all is well.

kay - hope you are ok with your lung problem - and that it is improving.

mkolmar - glad you went to hospital - how did dr's visit go. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

leftover bowties with meat sauce - yum - salad - even a glass of wine (throat definitely better - couldn't even think of pouring any red down it till now. orange sherbert/vanilla ice cream. So good.

daltonam Posted 29 Jan 2007 , 3:43am

joan, glad to have you back....sounds like you need another vacation already

supper ended up being pizza dip w/sausage added

Zmama Posted 29 Jan 2007 , 6:16am

Hey everyone! Just a quick check-in, will have to read what I missed tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing okay.

Tonight was spaghetti, again. It's the staple here when it's cold, and it's COLD! Been working on dd's cake, since she just decided which cake she wanted for the slumber party which is Saturday. Then have a castle cake for Monday for her family party. I'm just glad to be able to do the cakes! Our Siamese kitten had been getting mean lately, and she bit me good last week, it got infected, and couldn't use my hand for a few days. She had to go, this was the last straw. But, hand is working again for the most part, so got a few things done.

For those that remember ds' headaches, they're gone. After getting him checked out, it was the stress from testing at school. He's doing much better now.

Hadn't said anything really, but we've been worried about my fiance's heart for a while. He had a heart attack a few years ago and was having pain again, but he checked out fine. That was our good news icon_smile.gif Very thankful for that.

Wishing everyone well...

kaychristensen Posted 29 Jan 2007 , 10:20am

Ok it was crunch time for Girl Scout cookies. We had to get the order in tonight. And since I was sick ,DD had some teeth pulled, Snow and Ice and BLAH BLAH BLAH. Anyway super was leftover night. Pick one thumbs_up.gif Or make your own icon_lol.gif

Zmama We missed you at the table icon_cry.gif And ya COMFORT FOOD icon_lol.gif
and COLD I can relate icon_cry.gif Iam glad to here DS problems are under control thumbs_up.gif And glad DF(my abbr. don't know if it is one) is doing OK thumbs_up.gif

Joanmary GLAD you are back as well. Glad your doggie is doing good thumbs_up.gif
And glad the little one is on the mend. Gotta love the little bugs they give us icon_cry.gificon_lol.gif I am hoping I don't have to go to the specialist. I am still coughing but I still have a week to improve and I am hoping

Daltonam You To FUNNY icon_lol.gif

Knox I never thought of that aspect of the pics. icon_redface.gif I guess in this day and age of computers. You can do alot to people. And our COPS(knoxy) could be a target for skeezers LOL Thanks for the well wishes thumbs_up.gif So you need some food to go with your Fresca icon_razz.gif And I love sausage balls icon_lol.gif I will trade my concoction for your sausage balls. Deal or no Deal icon_lol.gif So how is the BED icon_razz.gif

Ohara YEAH they ate it thumbs_up.gif The combo was to the best of my memory dunce.gif You put biscuits in the bottom of the pan. I kind of tore them up into fouths. I used a big pan like a 11x15. Then in skillet I put the already cooked off Hamb. w/onion(frozen I nuked in the micro) And a can of spaghetti sauce, a small can of tomato sauce, 2 packets of sloppy joe mix, I added a few big squeezes of ketchup, and about 1/2 cup or so of water. The last 2 were improvised. Spread over the biscuits. Bake about 20 minutes and then add shredded cheese and bake another 5. I think the temp was 400 but not sure. It was pretty good.
Your dinner sounded AWESOME thumbs_up.gif I love chicken and linguini and DUH BREAD GOTTA HAVE THAT thumbs_up.gif I hope you are doing ok with the issues you are having right now. We are MOMS first but sometimes it can be totally draining. When we have our own problems to deal with. I am thinking of you.

I am going to email mxpark to see how she is doing. I will keep you posted.

mkolmar Posted 30 Jan 2007 , 1:28am

Kay, I had to turn in my daughters girl scout cookie order form today too!

Zmama and Joanmary- Glad you are back!

Knox--how you liking the new mattress?

And you all weren't to hard on me for waiting to go to the DR., my DH is still telling me how stupid I was/am for waiting so long. On that note I went to the DR. today and he doesn't know what wrong right now because I have a virus on top of the chest pain. I had to take a breathing test (not that kind KNOX icon_lol.gif ) and failed it horribly. He said after the exam and test that something is wrong with my lungs. I have an inhailer to try out for the next 4 days and if I'm not doing better by them I have to go back for more tests. If not asthma it could possibly be bronchitus, acid reflux narrowing some passage way and could be YADA YADA YADA. Basically he doesn't know and he gave me an inhailer to take a shot at it.
My chest is hurting worse and I'm now starting to cough a little bit. I can still walk around and do work though just feel poopy doing it!

Anywho....tonight was cheese pizza since I'm not wanting to cook right now. I'm making 2 small salads for me and DH later to get rid of the extra spinach leaves and grape tomatoes plus chicken I have.

Hope you all are doing well, I'm signing off for now. I only came on to say HI to ya'll and see how you were doing.

kaychristensen Posted 30 Jan 2007 , 1:55am

WOW mkolmar Are you my long lost twin icon_razz.gif I have really had chest pains per say just trouble breathing and a tight feeling. So I am on the antibiotic, inhaler, acid reflux med to see is that is it also. My next step is the breathing test if I don't feel better. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH Mine hurts more when I have been outside in the cold. I take a breath and start coughing hard icon_cry.gif

Anyway I made Tatortot casserole last night. And I am not sure about tonight yet

Talk to you all later

knoxcop1 Posted 30 Jan 2007 , 2:05am

icon_surprised.gificon_sad.gif Ohhh....my poor sweeties! Kolmar and Kay! Awww.... icon_sad.gif Hope y'all are feeling better really soon.

We haven't unloaded the mattress yet from the back of the truck. (I know...laziness...) thumbsdown.gif Just a combo of the wacky weekend we had, and pure being too tired to do it. icon_cry.gif It'll be nice and FRESH, though--guarantee that.

Back on day shift today. Gah! icon_cry.gif So, I came home and took a quickie...(NAP, that is! icon_surprised.gif ) I'm up now, and tonight I'm making:

MEATLOAF w/molasses spiced tomato sauce
Steamed veggies
Twice baked potatoes
Bottled water

mkolmar...I hope you feel better real soon. I'm sorry you feel so crappy.

Joanmary...Thanks and welcome back. We've missed you.

knox...I love when I get some time by myself. It doesn't happen at this house very much.

Zmama....welcome back

Kay...thanks for the recipe

Thanks for your good thoughts...yesterday was hard but I'm still standing. And that which does not kill us makes us stronger (I should be freakin Super woman). Still too raw....
On a high note...I will be spending 5 glorious days with my ya-ya's(girlfriends), playing, eating and laughing till my sides hurt.

Dinner tonight:

Hamburger Steak
green beans
cottage cheese

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone! Thought I'd report and say the inhailer is NOT helping and I feel worse with it. I think my lungs are going to explode right now and I'm really light headed. Calling the doc tomorrow to tell him what's going on. Oh well, that's enough complaining from me. Kay, I must be your long lost twin! When I go outside it's as if my airways tighten up and then start to cough.

It may be back in one of these 118 pages, but how do ya'll make tatertot casserole. It sounds good.

Zmama--forgot to say I'm glad your son is doing better.
Ohara--where's your cape?

mkolmar and kay - you guys better take care of yourselves. Mkolmar - I'm glad you are calling dr back this time and not waiting.

Thanks all for the welcome back. Tara, I am really not much of a traveller - much prefer to stay home. I think dh is part gypsy, though.

Ohara - a cruise with gfs sounds great. Enjoy.

knox - I know you are licensed, but do you work out of your home? Sounds to me like you have two full time jobs.

Chicken stir fry
Ice cream
