Does anyone have a good recipe for a baked cheese cake that they have made. I have had a request to make one and decorate it like a cake., ie., covering it in icing ect. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Anna

The best cheesecake I've ever eaten came from the cheesecake factory. Here's a copycat recipe...

I make a cookie cheesecake that uses sugar cookie instead of graham cracker crust, and then swirl with strawberry or raspberry jam. yum.

The recipe is simple for the cheesecake:

2 eggs
2 pkg softened cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste...I sometimes use more or less)
1/2 tsp vanilla

Layer cookie dough on the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan (if you use premade just slice rounds and place them to cover) Cook for 10 mins or until golden. Mix cheesecake 'batter' if you will, and pour on top of cookie crust (no need to wait for it to cool) Then you can either bake plain or you can at this point swirl in your favorite flavor jelly or jam. Bake @ 350° for approx 30 minutes. = )
