Hi

I've just been asked to make one of these cakes. I don't really want to do it freehand, so was wondering where I could get an image from to copy to make an edible image. The one I want is the white background with bright coloured logos.

TIA

Jo

This is the website.

When I did mine, I went to the catalog, clicked on luggage (nice, big expanses of just the logo) or the wallets to get some good closeups. I wish I would've thought of an edible image. I played around and made some royal images (only ivory on brown fondant) but decided instead to make stamps. Then I couldn't make the stamp work so I ended up using the royal images. They actually turned out okay except I didn't have near enough! I was so disappointed and never bothered to post it. There are many others in the gallery better than mine.

Check out Nunuk's LV purse. She made a white one with the colored logo. If you read the comments she gives this e-mail address if you need help or have questions. HTH, good Luck!

For those who have used edible image for the LV logo, can i pls check: do you cover the cake with white fondant 1st and than paste the edible image or roll out the white fondant, paste the edible image and than cover the cake? Which method gives a clean nice job. Hope to get some help. Thank you.
