nope
ive microwaved it before...
i do think the whole reason it melted is because it was stood on end instead of lying on its side. Trust me I felt like Paris Hilton must feel every day...

lol- my daughter (Jade) DESTROYED one of my pots while boiling WATER. I swear she and Paris are related in some way! I always say she's lucky she's pretty because no man would ever marry her for her abilities in the kitchen! And yes, she is blonde!

Here's a funny one about her friend (16 yo)- her new doctor asks if she's ever broken anything. She replies "just last week I broke a glass, I'm sure I've broken some plates, quite a few pencils..." while laughing, the doc interrupts with "any BONES?" Far too funny!

Back on topic (sorry), I never thought of using the microwave - how long would you normally put it in for? Good idea (if it doesn't melt!)

Well now... that's not a very nice way to treat that roller! I'm calling the RAH on you!! (Roller Abuse Hotline!)

I know Melvira.... Im so sorry I will never do it again I promise..... Please dont call it was just an accident... I swear it on my Wilton Way books....

I usually zap the roller for 40 seconds.... but I gues this time it was a bit too much. I think another reason is that the roller wasnt all the dry. .... Good thing the replacement heads are two for 3.50 out here.

Welllll... if you can assure me that future roller heads will be treated more gently, then I guess I can look the other way this once! icon_wink.gif Glad the refills aren't hard to come by, or this would've been a bigger tragedy! But it's good that you are able to warn others!

okay, in what ways would you sterilize the rollers. I just wash with warm to hot water and soap and let dry....am I doing something wrong??
