Love the 3D durable recipe on this site -- however, it calls for a Yellow or White cake mix....has anyone tried any others? Would like to try chocolate but worried that it won't hold up as well...any other flavors?

Thanks Lisanne

I have tried yellow & chocolate. Both turned out very good. Just sub. chocolate pudding, or a complimentary flavor pudding depending on which mix you choose.

I also tried yellow cake mix with 1/2 box vanilla, 1/2 box banana cream. That's been my favorite so far. Even better with some fresh strawberry glaze on top. icon_biggrin.gif I see all sorts of possibilities, just by changing around the puddings & mixes. Good luck!
