Hello all!
I posted this in one of the other forums, and it didn't get any attention.....I want to put satin ribbon on the bottom of each tier of a round cake iced in bc.........How do I attach it? How do I keep it from soaking through (the moisture from the bc)? TIA!!!

Go with the (grease) flow. Spray the whole thing down lightly with Pam before applying and it will not get splotchy. Barring that, you can iron it between sheets of waxed paper or line the back with clear tape. I like Pam. Just attach it with more icing in the back.

If I am not leaving the cake with anyone - and I am there for the cutting, then I use a tiny little pin. But if I am not there then using icing is the way to go icon_biggrin.gif
