I have been asked to do a doll cake for a white affair. The only thing is that i've been asked to do a 20" or 22" doll cake. I have done doll cakes in the past but not this big and I need some ideas. Do you use a bigger doll? or can you use the wilton doll picks for a cake this big? Can anyone help or have a picture of a doll cake this big that I can see or any ideas?

Thanks, Dee.

yes, you are going to have to use a bigger doll. Other than that, its just gonna be the same but very large scale.

Whenever I've done a doll cake and needed more servings than the doll pan itself will provide, I've always made a base cake and set the doll cake on it. I've done this on both round and sheet cakes. I decorate the base cake with roses, etc. This has always turned out great.
